Is tipping required?

Tipping, also called Gratuity, is never expected and is up to your discretion. Your hairstylist and/or makeup artist would be extremely grateful for a tip but it’s not required.

If I want to tip, how much do I give?

If your stylist or makeup artist did an incredible job and you want to tip them (thank you!), 20% is a standard gratuity amount.

When should I give the tip?

If you know you want to provide gratuity to your stylists tipping in advance is a great way to relieve day-of-wedding stress. You don’t have to worry about carrying cash on the big day and your stylists can just pack up and leave.

If you only want to tip if you have a great experience, you can put cash in separate envelopes for your vendors and have your wedding planner hand them out when the reception has concluded.
